Merkur Dining Chair

Designed by Skogstad & Wærnes, the Merkur Dining Chair was originally created for the Oslo Stock Exchange. Its timeless form reinterprets the archetypal dining chair through traditional woodworking, refined proportions and a gently curved backrest.

Merkur is available in two versions:

• Dining Chair: Without armrests for a lighter, more compact profile
• Dining Chair with Armrests: Offering additional support and a more generous silhouette

Both versions are available with either a solid oak seat or a partially upholstered seat.

Oak finishes include:

• Natural Oak
• Black-Stained Oak

Seat options include:

• Solid Oak Seat
• Upholstered Seat

Upholstery options include:

• Bouclé & Texture: Audo Bouclé and Logan
• Woven Textiles: Hallingdal 65 and Aida
• Leather: Sierra

Each upholstery collection offers its own selection of colours.

Merkur can be stacked up to four chairs high, making it suitable for both residential dining spaces and flexible hospitality settings.
