Parliament Floor Lamp

Designed by Le Corbusier in 1963 for the Parliament in Chandigarh, Parliament is a floor lamp inspired by the industrial lighting of the time and the principles of 1950s modernism.

Its adjustable diffuser is formed by two open symmetrical cones, providing both direct and indirect illumination. The diffuser can be rotated and tilted to adjust the direction of the light, while the colour combinations reflect Le Corbusier’s distinctive “claviers de couleurs” system.
