Oku Coffee Table

Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, the Oku Coffee Table takes its name from the Japanese word for oak, Ōku, reflecting the material at the heart of its design.

The table explores the balance between visual lightness and solidity. Its form appears almost paper-thin when viewed from one angle and more substantial from another, emphasising the natural character of the oak.

The generously proportioned tabletop is crafted from FSC-certified oak veneer with softly rounded edges. Turned solid oak legs are positioned asymmetrically beneath the surface, creating the impression of a floating tabletop while adding a distinctive sculptural detail.
