Pinch

Designed by Cas Moor, the Pinch Sofa combines generous comfort with a soft, sculptural expression. Its elevated backrest is designed to support the shoulders and encourage a more relaxed posture, while the subtle pinching line running through the armrest and backrest gives the sofa its name. Together with its soft, naturally wrinkled surface, this detail gives Pinch a distinctive tactile character.

Its modular construction allows Pinch to adapt to different spaces and ways of living, from compact arrangements to larger compositions incorporating straight, curved and lounging elements.

Left and right configurations are available across the relevant seating, arc and chaise longue modules.

The seat and back frame are made from solid beech wood. The back is built with cold foam and wadding, while the seat combines zig-zag springs, felt, cold foam and wadding. A thin lining of down sits beneath the upholstery, contributing to the sofa’s soft and relaxed character. Individual modules are secured together using connecting metal brackets.

Cushions are not included with the sofa. If additional cushions are desired, Paul Rogers recommends one 80 × 60 cm cushion per seating module. Different upholstery choices can create slightly different expressions, and some fabrics may naturally wrinkle around the curved seat.
