Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the Hippo Chair | Steel offers a lighter and more streamlined interpretation of the original Hippo design. Its familiar rounded seat and backrest are balanced by a slender tubular steel frame, preserving the collection’s playful character while introducing a more contemporary expression.

The frame is crafted from brushed stainless steel and incorporates a deliberate curved detail that softens its otherwise angular profile. Its lightweight construction makes the chair easy to move and particularly suitable for dining areas, meeting rooms and flexible workspaces.
