Mollis

Designed by Cas Moor, the Mollis Sofa takes inspiration from stones gradually softened and shaped by the movement of water. Its rounded, pebble-like forms come together as a modular seating system with a relaxed, tactile character, allowing individual elements to interact naturally within the composition. Subtle details, including inverse cross stitching, reinforce the considered approach behind the design.

The collection is available as Mollis and Mollis Grande, with the Grande version offering more generous proportions while retaining the same soft, sculptural design language.

Comfort:

• Mollis seat depth: 70 cm
• Mollis Grande seat depth: 80 cm
• Seat height: 41 cm

The seat and back frames are made from solid beech wood. The back is built with cold foam and wadding, while the seat combines zig-zag springs, felt, cold foam and wadding. Individual modules are secured together using connecting metal brackets.

Cushions:

• Cushions are not included with the sofa.
• For Mollis, Paul Rogers recommends one 40 × 40 cm cushion per seating module if cushions are desired.
• For Mollis Grande, Paul Rogers recommends one 55 × 55 cm cushion per seating module if cushions are desired.

Different upholstery choices may naturally create slightly different expressions, and some fabrics may develop light wrinkling around the curved seating areas.
