Designed by Rune Krøjgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik, the NY11 Counter & Bar w/ Backrest brings the refined character of the NY11 Chair to counter and bar settings. Inspired by traditional Danish school chairs, its lightweight silhouette combines lasting comfort with an understated material expression.

NY11 Counter & Bar w/ Backrest is available in two heights:

• Counter Height: 65 cm seat height
• Bar Height: 75 cm seat height

Upholstery configurations include:

• No Upholstery: Oak veneer seat and backrest
• Seat Upholstery: Upholstered seat with an exposed oak veneer backrest
• Front Upholstery: Upholstered seat and front of the backrest, with oak veneer remaining visible on the exterior

Oak finishes include:

• Natural Oak
• Light Smoked Oak
• Dark Smoked Oak
• Black Oak

The chair combines a handcrafted solid oak frame with a laminated oak veneer seat and backrest, complemented by an integrated steel footrest. Upholstered versions are available in an extensive selection of fabrics, leathers and colours, while the replaceable seat pad allows the chair to be refreshed over time.
