Studio Modular Sofa

Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, the Studio Modular Sofa draws inspiration from the relaxed, sunken lounge seating of the 1970s, reinterpreted through a contemporary and highly adaptable modular system.

Studio is characterised by its softly rounded profile and distinctive fluted upholstery. A classic non-fluted upholstery option is also available for a cleaner and more understated expression.

Its modular construction allows Studio to be arranged as a compact straight sofa, an expansive corner composition, a deeper lounge setting or a freestanding double-sided configuration.

Available modules include:

• Small, Medium and Large seating modules, with or without armrests
• Deeper Small, Medium and Large Lounge modules
• Lounge modules with short or full armrests
• Corner, Half-Corner and Curve modules
• Standard and Lounge Ottomans
• Loose, movable armrest cushions
• Complementary pouf, bench and sofa trays

• Medium: W80 × D96 × H73 cm
• Large: W120 × D96 × H73 cm
• Corner: W113 × D96 × H73 cm
• Half-Corner: W77 × D96 × H73 cm
• Curve: W113 × D96 × H73 cm
• Ottoman: W80 × D96 × H47 cm

The deeper Lounge modules are available in the same Small, Medium and Large widths, with an overall depth of 130 cm. The Lounge Ottoman measures W80 × D130 cm.

Available preconfigured setups include:

• Setup 1: Two Medium modules, one Ottoman and one Loose Armrest — W240 × D96 × H73 cm
• Setup 3: Two Large modules, one Small module and two Loose Armrests — W300 × D96 × H73 cm
• Setup 4: One Medium module, one Large module, one Corner and two Loose Armrests — W230 × L190 × D96 × H73 cm
• Setup 5: Two Classic Ottomans, two Ottomans, one Large module, one Corner, one Medium module, one Small module and three Loose Armrests. The composition is divided into two sections measuring W230 × L270 × H73 cm and W220 × D96 × H73 cm

The Studio Setup 1 forms the starting configuration used for the displayed price. It can be expanded with additional compatible modules to create a larger straight, corner, curved, lounge or freestanding composition according to the dimensions and seating requirements of each space.

Standard seating modules have a seat height of 47 cm and a seat depth of 62 cm. The deeper Lounge modules maintain the same seat height while increasing the seat depth to 96 cm.

The modules are connected using the integrated Click-Link system and feature a complete 360-degree finish, allowing individual elements to stand independently and remain visually refined from every angle. Selected modules can also be reversed to create double-sided arrangements.

Studio is built around a plywood structure with elastic webbing and cold-cure foam filling. Part of the construction behind the backrest is replaced with foam, creating integrated cushioning and allowing a softer, more relaxed recline.

The collection can be customised in a wide selection of upholstery fabrics and leathers, colours and textures.
